As a youngster Simon spent much time at his fathers side doing what vet's sons do. Lifting, carrying water, feeding the animals, answering the phone and getting in the way. But amongst the many sights and sounds Simon came across were the grieving pet owners. Owners who had loved and cherished their pets as part of the family. When the end came so did the pain. It was very real and very deep. Tears, and cherished memories often filled the surgery. Today with the internet it seems a natural place to create a virtual cemetery where pets can be put to rest in the nearest place to heaven.
