Hope and Peace
Hope and Peace were very young when they were tragically taken from this world in an act of violence that shook our world. Although none of us knew them, we have all grown to love and care for them. They have become a symbol to those of us ...who have spent hours, days, weeks and months investigating their deaths. They have caused us all to stop and look at our own animal companions with renewed hope and love, to share a quiet moment in reflection, a hug and even tears. They renewed a sense of purpose In our work to stop animal abuse in the world. To spread the word that animal abuse will no longer be tolerated. That we will fight at every turn to protect and provide a voice for those who have none. Hope and Peace will always be a part of our lives and we can know, in all certainty, that they will greet us all at the Rainbow Bridge, with sparkling eyes and happy faces for the work we have done in their name. Just this side of Heaven
is a place called
RAINBOW BRIDGE.

When an animal dies that has been especially close, that animal goes to
RAINBOW BRIDGE.

There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour, those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again.Just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing they each miss someone very special to them who has been left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks in the distance. His bright eyes are intent his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly he begins to run from the group flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted and when you and your special friend meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress their beloved head, and you look once again into the trusting eyes of your animal, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.
