Virtual Pet Cemetery by the Open Sea flowers
Virtual Pet Cemetery by the Open Sea
At a secluded and delightful spot overlooking the headland of Lenane, Connamara this is amongst the prettiest of our locations.
Selected for its beauty and calmness, this is ideal for pets that love to play in the sea. With fresh sea air and open aspect, this is the most natural resting place for any loved pet.

Tinkerbell
She died naturally 1st Aug 1990 at her home in Buxton of old age and lack of exercise. She was nearly 12 years old. A wonderful loving pet with attitude. Always purring. Flossy caught birds, sat by the fire and scowled at visitors. She will never be forgotten. She left 3 brothers and 2 sisters and a broken hearted Liley Family. Rest in Peace

BROADHEAD JON
Broadhead Jon happiest when he was chasing the horses or cows around the fields. Loved getting dirty and wet and was never really sick or sorry. Enjoyed his life, frightened us to death when he tried to round up the little kids(probably thought they were sheep!) Missed by us all and will never be forgotten

JENNY AND MILLY
Milly came first- my first horse- and when she got older she became stiff and needed to stay out in the field. Jenny came as a companion, she never left. Jenny was a fantastic horse- we won championships at shows. As she got older Jenny's feet became really bad and Milly's arthritis and age became a problem. The vets came out and put them both to sleep at the same time. I miss you both and will never be able to replace you. Love Lisa

Nutmeg
Here lies 'the little Nut' whom I miss with all my heart. She was the most persistant, tireless, happy, loving, most loyal dog a girl could have wished for. She always made coming home worthwhile and cried like she hadn't seen me for years even if I had only been in the garden hanging out the washing. She loved stones and swimming which is why I have chosen to rest her, finally, by the sea. Nutmeg, know that you live on in our hearts. All our love, Hazel, Jess and Jake xxx

Image of a Rainbow

Just this side of Heaven
is a place called
RAINBOW BRIDGE.

When an animal dies that has been especially close, that animal goes to
RAINBOW BRIDGE.

There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigour, those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again.Just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing they each miss someone very special to them who has been left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks in the distance. His bright eyes are intent his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly he begins to run from the group flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted and when you and your special friend meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress their beloved head, and you look once again into the trusting eyes of your animal, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together.
