People said we were crazy when we bought a duck as a pet (hence her name) but Quackers did not
drive us mad. She lived on the pond in our back garden. We often talked to her of the sea, of its size and depth. I don\'t think she ever quite believed us, she often ducked her head under water when we mentioned it. But she\'ll believe now as we finally managed to take her there, even if only in spirit. Rest well dear duck, our pond and hearts are empty without you. Love Gill & Pete x
